Shanghai will develop new intermediary services, such as shipping and international trade, over the next five years, according to the local authorities. The city government will assist in setting up six new intermediary service sectors, such as shipping, international trade, law, intellectual property rights, exhibition and human resources, by 2015. Apart from giving domestic firms a hand, it will make every effort to attract more foreign agencies to the city, as well.
