“The
Smart Approach to Set Up and Manage Business in China” and “Management of
Chinese HR” were the subjects of the seminars held by PTL Group in June in
Israel and the Netherlands accordingly.
Israeli workshop was held in June 11 at Dan Accadia Hotel, Herzliya
Pituach and was organized by PTL Group in cooperation with HIL Lawyers and
Advisors, accounting company Baker TIlly Israel and Israel Management Center
(HAMIL). Workshop attracted senior executives and decision-makers from over 40
Israeli companies which are already present or plan their business presence in
China.
The
main message of the workshop was establishing China operations through offshore
structuring, Hong Kong in particularly, with further remote management from
Israel. PTL Group contributed in three sessions covering the following topics:
updates on business environment in China in times of Global Financial Crisis;
the challenges of managing effective sales and distribution channels in China;
restructuring and corporate rescue of China operations.
In the Netherlands, PTL Group participated in the workshop “HR Management in
China” organized by the Dutch Association for Technological and Industrial
Sector (FME-CSW). Workshop saw HR Managers, Directors and Owners of over 20
Dutch companies which are active in China or exploring opportunities in this
lucrative market.
Arie
Schreier, VP of PTL Group elaborated on the differences in management approach
of Chinese and Western managers as well as retention tool and salary levels of
the Chinese managers of different levels. Besides PTL Group, FME-CSW invited
Global7, HIL and Triceps to contribute their experience and know-how of
managing Chinese employees.
PTL
Group plans to hold more seminars designed for the foreign companies about
