Zvi Shalgo

Chief Executive Officer

Zvi Shalgo was previously the General Manager and Chief Representative for Frutarom Industries in China. Among his responsibilities was setting up a manufacturing and R&D center (taking over a local company), leading the sales penetration efforts, and managing the areas of raw materials, import, and trade.

Prior to that he served in UDI (The Eisenberg Group of Companies) as General Manager of Jinzhou Eisen Oil Co’ Ltd., an edible oil refinery J/V in north China.

As the founder of Pine Technologies Limited, the group’s technical distribution arm in Hong Kong, Zvi has gathered invaluable hands-on personal experience in all aspects of penetration to Chinese markets.

He also has 7 years industrial management experience in Israel prior to moving to China.

Zvi has lived in China since 1996; he holds a masters degree in Financial Systems from Clack University (Mass. USA) and a bachelor degree in Business Administration from Tel Aviv Business College.

In his free time, he’s a big fan of all kinds of water sports, and especially enjoys boat building.

Arie Schreier

VP Downstream & COO

With more than 11 years in the Diplomatic service, Arie Schreier brings a wide array of international experience having managed organizations in Asia, South America, and Australia.

Serving as Consul and Administration Officer in different missions around the world, Arie has gained extensive experience in human resources and administration issues among many different and unique cultures.

Arie holds masters degrees in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from Swinburne University in Melbourne, Australia, Public Administration from Tel Aviv University, and a BA in Political Science and International Relations from Tel Aviv University.

By bringing the diplomatic touch to PTL Group’s operations, Arie has helped improve customer service operations and is helping PTL Group to penetrate new markets around the world; he’s also known as the group’s no.1 person to consult about Shanghai’s great dining spots.

Roger Lu

VP Upstream & CFO

Roger has years of experience as the financial manager and chief accountant in numerous foreign trading companies in China. Amongst others, he has worked at state owned companies, at Shanghai links, at high-end Italian fashion companies, and at the first JV in China.

As PTL’s infrastructure is under constant development, his experience in both local Chinese regulations and western accounting practices adds a vital role to PTL Group’s top management.

Roger holds a wide scope of responsibilities within the group and works from the head office in Shanghai.

You can also find him managing weekly soccer games every Friday so - if you’re in the city - make sure to register in advance.

Elena Luk'yanenko

Marketing Director

Elena has more than eight years of experience in international marketing providing services for the foreign companies in different territories. Originally from Ukraine, Elena has travelled to Israel, India, the United Kingdom, Russia and Malaysia promoting various products in the new markets. She has performed direct and online marketing along with PR and advertising activities for the luxury lingerie, exotic timber products and web development services.

Elena lived and studied in the USA, where she graduated from an  American high school. She holds a masters degree in Financial Management from Kiev National Economic University.

Being a native speaker of Russian and Ukrainian, she is fluent in English and communicates in French. She uses opportunities to improve her Hebrew and Chinese language skills, while working for PTL Group in Shanghai head office.

Elena is responsible for the PTL Group’s marketing strategy and its implementation as well as the corporate image and publicity.

As a professional ballroom dancer in the past, Elena continues  to keep in shape. Watch out, she may run past you in one of Shanghai’s parks, where she jogs every other day.

Mepi Frankel

Representative in Israel

With 24 years of top management experience, Mepi has been Vice Chairman of the board of directors at Kaz Phosphate Ltd. (Kazakhstan), and Managing Director at RASys Refined Atomization Systems Ltd., Karaganda Power Ltd. (Kazakhstan), Infoserve Ltd., and ITTI Group (Information and Image Management). He was also a senior manager in United Mizrahi Bank Ltd.

His international experience covers a wide range of businesses including mining, energy, chemical production, R&D, information management, communications, and banking.

He has also served as a member of investment committees for various financial bodies and as a director in public companies traded on the Tel Aviv and New York stock exchanges.

His multinational experience in developing countries as well as his experience negotiating with banks, suppliers, institutions, and senior government bodies in developing countries’ environments makes Mepi a valuable addition to PTL Group’s management team.

Mepi lives in Israel where he manages PTL Group’s office. You’ll usually be able to find him at 5:00 AM everyday running on the beach.
